Paypal Payment Payment Problems

Paypal has been plagued by two separate technical problems causing duplicate transactions on some customer statements. Although money is not actually being debited from accounts, it is still having the effect of freezing if spending limits are breached within an account.
Paypal’s parent eBay has had its message boards cluttered with posts of irate customers.
Powersellers on eBay fear of receiving negative feedback from transaction problems may mean sellers are unable to dispatch goods and get negative feedback – which could quite possibly affect orders in the future.
Forum postings explain that Paypal is currently working to fix two separate problems; some debit card users have seen duplicate transactions appear on their accounts, although the money has not actually been taken. This problem emerged last week and was originally believed to be already resolved. – It has now come to light that some PIN transactions are still being affected. The other problem started on Sunday 18th September when transactions completed on the 8th or 9th September and cleared on the 15th September were debited twice.
It appears a third-party processor has been blamed for the problems, it has also been reported that UK users are unaffected by these issues.
